Friday Funnies

So, I’ve been a bad blogger lately. Haven’t been posting and no posts in reserve means Racing Bananas hasn’t been getting any love lately. Poor blog, right?! I have absolutely nothing insightful to share with you today, but I realized I have some obnoxious pictures saved on my phone that make me laugh – so I figured it was a good idea to share with you all as well!

Sexy back

I am terrified of snakes. My friends think it’s hilarious to send me pictures of snakes (why??? Jerks). This would be my reaction if I found a snake in my home. Total annihilation.

Old Pic

Basically the best throwback Thursday pic I’ve ever seen. Oddly enough, my parents thought this was more hilarious than I did. I can’t decide if that makes them awesome or weird. Both seems the most fitting answer.

Really no words needed. Just belly laughing. Because it’s true.

I love people.

Oh Justin.

Yes. Also fitting this week because my mother sent me home last weekend with a bag of Reese’s Eggs. Let’s just say I’ll never make the mistake of bringing them into my home again! #eatallthereeseseggs

Legit is part of my vocabulary. Yes, I have my Masters degree. #fail

Universal rule. Stop being so nosy, people! My phone is filled with an embarrassing number of selfies that I may need to use in an upcoming Instagram collage. #noshame

Example? Erudite in Divergent. I’ve been pronouncing it as “air-ed-you-dite.” Not how it was pronounced in the movie. Weird how they got that wrong…

Whatever. I love hashtags. I hash all day. I hash in texts. I hash on g chat. I hash EVERYWHERE.

Boom. Hope you have a good weekend!

  1. The snake and spider one is terrifying–I don’t mind snakes (as long as they’re not poisonous, then I generally scream like a little girl and run away), but I cannot STAND spiders. Or bugs in general. I had to get one of my friends to come to my room the other day just to kill a bug because I wasn’t about to go within 10 feet of that thing.

  2. I always have reaaaallly lame jokes because, well, I’m probably really lame.

But don’t worry about snakes – Jesse is absolutely terrified of them and once he came home to find a snake IN his house so he went at it with an axe (which I was more concerned about why he had an axe in his house haha) and in the process of killing said snake, he managed to make holes in the floor across his entire laundry room because he wanted to make sure it was really dead.

I was then the mean fiance (at the time) who told him the snakes family would come to avenge its death ;P
